One Canada to Greece ticket qualifies you for a domestic return fare(!) on some FF plans.

Many airlines fly to Greece, either directly from Canada or via intermediary stops
  • Olympic Airways flies from Montreal and Toronto directly to Athens. Olympic airways is on 800/223-1226.

  • Air Canada also flies to Athens. Contact them on 800/241-4141.
    • In our experience this is the best airline to fly to Greece from Canada. You can fly from Montreal or Toronto to Frankfurt and then connect on Lufthansa directly to Athens from the same terminal, with convenient transfers (Lufthansa and Air Canada are part of the Star Alliance, which also includes United Airlines, SAS and VARIG). Toronto flights leave in the evening and arrive in the morning and flights from Montreal leave late afternoon. You leave Montreal at about 6pm and you are in Athens next day at 1:40pm! And remember Air Canada permits you to visit the cockpit in flight! And has excellent fares. Low season fares cost from C$600 return!

  • European Airlines include Air France (maybe you can take the Concorde to Paris and then switch to a regular plane for the Athens Flight: if you do, let us know!) on 800/237-2747

  • Alitalia also gets you there via Rome. They are on 800/223-5730.

  • British Airways is on 800/247-9797.

  • KLM is on 800/777-5553.

  • Lufthansa is on 800/645-3880
